Are you a certified Montessori Center?
Beehive implements the Montessori method. However, we are not a certified Montessori school. For more information about the Montessori method, please see our page What is Montessori?
Do you offer pick-up service from my home?
No. We only offer pick-up service from select schools. For more details see our Transportation Page.
What happens if my child gets sick or injured?
According to our policies parents will be notified and pick-up requested if needed. We also obtain advance medical releases just in case your child needs emergency care. Children returning to school after being sick may require a doctor's note to do so. For more information, see our Illness Policy.
What if my child needs to take medication?
We can administer prescription medication only upon written consent. We do not administer any over-the-counter medication. See our Medication Release.
What if my child has an allergy?
We'll ask you to complete our Consent for Allergy Disclosure. This will allow us to publicly post appropriate warnings and disclose to our staff your child's specific needs and condition.
Do you provide drop-in childcare?
Yes (subject to availably). We can generally accommodate drop-in care for children ages 3 to 10 years of age. We do not accept drop-in's for children under 3.
Once I pay my registration fee is my child enrolled?
Not until all the enrollment paperwork is done, tuition is paid, and the Center Director has designated a start date for your child. The forms and process can be found on our Registration Page.
What happens if I'm late for pick-up?
In accordance with our late policy (see registration packet) you'll be required to notify us in advance if you plan to be late or if providing an alternate pickup person. As stated in that policy you will be billed for the additional time.
Does Beehive provide meals or snacks?
Beehive Learning Academy is a proud sponsor of the Child Nutrition Program. We provide healthy and kid-friendly meals (breakfast & lunch) and snacks everyday for the children in our care! We also provide iron fortified baby formula and nutritious baby food for the infants in our care... all at no extra charge!
Do you accept military and state child care assistance payments?
Yes. We are authorized to accept these forms of payment. See also our section on Payments Accepted.
What if my child is absent?
If your child is absent for a partial, full, or multiple days you will still be responsible for the full tuition. The tuition holds your child's place in the program. If you plan to have them out for any extended amount of time, we suggest you provide written notice to the Director and ask them to pause your enrolment. We cannot guarantee a spot will be available when ready to return.
